We had a delightful stay at the Swinton Hotel near St Pancras in London. The staff were absolutely wonderful—extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. Their warmth and willingness to assist really stood out to us. The hotel itself has a charming, vintage feel. Our first room was quite small, cold, and had an uncomfortable bed. It was also a bit noisy. However, after mentioning our discomfort, the staff immediately moved us to a larger room with a better bed, more heating, and less noise. This made a huge difference and we had an excellent stay from then on. The location is fantastic—very central and convenient for transportation, with plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby. We will gladly return, making sure to request the room we had for the remaining nights. The hotel is clean, though a bit worn, but the decor in the common areas is lovely. The breakfast room is inviting, although we didn't have breakfast, and the garden looks pleasant for the summer. We were there in November, so it was cold, but the heating worked well in the second room. We requested an extra blanket, and the housekeeping was done daily and very well. Overall, the exceptional kindness of the staff made our stay memorable, and we look forward to returning.

- Great location, especially if you are travelling with the Eurostar as it is within walking distance from Kings Cross St Pancras station (7-10 mins walk). Area is safe. There are a few convenience stores next to the hotel as well as pubs so you can spend a good evening in the area already. - Soundproof windows. I was staying in a single room on the side of the street and it was pretty quiet thanks to the double-glass windows. - Staff super-friendly. I had the occasional chats with some of the staff members there. They are all very friendly and there to help you 24/24. - Outstanding garden. It is rare to have such a garden available in a hotel. It is quite spacious and there are a few seats available. I was lucky that the weather was amazing when I went to I could really enjoy it! - I haven't tried the breakfast, it looked quite basic but you can't beat the price! - Wifi worked well. - Room was very clean and cleaning was taking place every day. - I got a small bottle of water offered every day, that was very nice! - Prices are really affordable for London!

Good value (for London). Very clean room, Quite (2nd floor & at the back.......perfect). Very friendly staff. 24 hour reception. Great location with easy access to King's Cross Tube Station & easy walking (less than an hour on a lazy Sunday morning with the sun shinning) via canal up to Camden for the Camden Markets for an easy no rush day & on to Regents Park. 3rd time staying at this hotel, can't fault it, same staff on each visit, which is a good sign. Only had the breakfast on one of the stays, not this time, it was your usual continental affair. There's a new Gym, didn't use, but it's a new addition to what's on offer, good to see a Hotel making improvements & investments.

The hotel staff where very welcoming, polite and kind. The hotel was really well placed, not noisy and slightly away from a main road, so not much traffic noise. The bedroom was basic, very clean with tea/coffee and biscuits. On our departure we where offered water and use of the toilettes. We would definetly return here and recommend. Very good value for money. We didn't take breakfast, but i think the price was resonable considering how expensive it is to eat out in London.

Everything was exactly as described. I got clean sheets and towels every day, plus water, coffee and biscuits. The TV was also in the room with lots of channels to choose from. I was placed in a room looking outside on the street which is quite noisy, but if you close the window during night, you won't hear it. Great location close to King's Cross Underground station and British Museum. Overall, very plesant and enjoyable stay.
