I stayed here for one night before catching an early train. The location is excellent for the station - close enough to be convenient, far enough that you don't wake up with trains rattling the windows every half hour. In fact, for central London, it was very quiet. It's a budget hotel so the facilities were basic, but it was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The room was a good size for a single, the bed was comfy and the shower was warm with decent pressure. There was also basic tea/coffee making stuff, bottled water and some mini toiletries in the room, which was a nice touch. The real highlight of my stay was the staff, who were very kind. friendly and helpful. They made me feel very welcome, and the service was excellent.

Good value (for London). Very clean room, Quite (2nd floor & at the back.......perfect). Very friendly staff. 24 hour reception. Great location with easy access to King's Cross Tube Station & easy walking (less than an hour on a lazy Sunday morning with the sun shinning) via canal up to Camden for the Camden Markets for an easy no rush day & on to Regents Park. 3rd time staying at this hotel, can't fault it, same staff on each visit, which is a good sign. Only had the breakfast on one of the stays, not this time, it was your usual continental affair. There's a new Gym, didn't use, but it's a new addition to what's on offer, good to see a Hotel making improvements & investments.

The hotel staff where very welcoming, polite and kind. The hotel was really well placed, not noisy and slightly away from a main road, so not much traffic noise. The bedroom was basic, very clean with tea/coffee and biscuits. On our departure we where offered water and use of the toilettes. We would definetly return here and recommend. Very good value for money. We didn't take breakfast, but i think the price was resonable considering how expensive it is to eat out in London.

Staff were exceptional. Very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and tidy. There were a few negative reviews about the cleanliness but I couldn't find a fault in it. Of course, it's very small, it's very central in London city so that's only to be expected. The shower was super awkward as it was basically the entire bathroom and you were showering on top of the toilet. But again, issues with space are to be expected when you're looking to stay so central.

Everything was exactly as described. I got clean sheets and towels every day, plus water, coffee and biscuits. The TV was also in the room with lots of channels to choose from. I was placed in a room looking outside on the street which is quite noisy, but if you close the window during night, you won't hear it. Great location close to King's Cross Underground station and British Museum. Overall, very plesant and enjoyable stay.
